Today we're looking at a company that more than likely has its products in your hands right now. No it's not a coffee company or Apple (we did that one yesterday). We're talking tiny but powerful. So let's jump right in:

ADVANCED MICRO DEVICES, INC (Stock Ticker: AMD) -  AMD creates products such as microprocessors, computer chips, graphic cards, video and multimedia products and supplies. Basically they make the tiny little things that go into the computers and phones you use. They sell to Apple, HP, Dell, Xerox and a lot of other large companies too.

Why AMD?

AMD’s market capitalization (the size of the company in financial terms) is around $115.43 billion. Which makes them one of the biggest companies in their industry. Their advantage is the ability to produce quality products faster than their competition. Plus they have an established brand in the industry.

Why we feel there’s a buying opportunity:

1. They are going to report their Q4 (Sept-Dec 2022) earnings on January 31st. The last 10 quarterly reports have exceeded expectations. And they’re expected to do the same thing for Q4 of last year.   

2. On November 28th, 2021 AMD’s stock reached an all time high of $161.91. But then fell last year to $54.52 in September. Since then it has been slowly recovering and is at $67.99 as of the writing of this e-mail. It may have the opportunity to bounce back closer to its previous November 2021 high. So a lot of potential upside.
