We're going to the movies!

Hey MPA Investors!
Having kids can be great, but the germs that bring home are not! I had just gotten over a stomach bug 2 weeks ago and now I’m getting over a fever. Fun stuff, but the market doesn’t care so let’s jump right in:

THIS WEEKS' MOVERS SNAPSHOT
Amazon (Stock Ticker: AMZN) - If I spent as much money on Amazon stock as I do buying stuff on amazon I’d be a lot richer 😂. I don’t think I need to explain too much more about Amazon so let’s jump into the opportunity. Now it’s not just one movie that’s going to move the needle for a giant company like Amazon, but we thought it was an interesting fact.
Why AMZN?
This one might surprise you but we’re actually going to the movies today. More specifically CREED III. It’s had the best opening ever for a sports themed movie. So why are we talking about it? Because CREED III is produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 2022 by, you guessed it, Amazon. Something else we’re looking at it is Amazon’s collaboration with a company called Hugging Face Artificial (funny name). It’s an AI company and the pair is working on creating a Chat GPT competitor. And if you haven’t heard of Chat GPT it’s the largest and most popular AI writing tool. It’s no secret that the AI space is hot, so we’ll see what they come up with.
Why we feel there’s a buying opportunity:
1. Amazon is currently priced at $94.88, but several large banks expect it to end the year closer to $140. We personally feel a short-term target of $120 and a 2023 target of $140 could be reasonably expected. a. Morgan Stanley thinks $140-$150 b. JP Morgan estimation for Amazon is at $142 c. Wells Fargo and Citi both think $145
CURRENT PRICE (as of this email): $94.88

See you Monday!Thibaud & PhilipInteresting Financial Facts: In January 2020, the personal savings rate was only at 7.6%. The number shot up to 33.7% in April, largely due to the Covid. The number later dropped to 13.4% in December 2020.
Let’s talk investment risk:
No matter what anyone tells you, every investment comes with risk. Even keeping your money in the bank comes with risk. The risk isn’t very high for keeping your money in the bank, but there’s still a risk. Believe it or not, there’s even a risk for keeping cash. You could have it stolen or in 5 years it could be worth less than it’s worth now because of inflation. So it’s important to understand the different levels of risks that come with investing of all kinds. We would not recommend investing in individual stocks as a retirement plan. If you’re interested in investing in stocks for other reasons, the analysis we give you could help. But we have to be clear, these are NOT recommendations, this is analysis. We give you the analysis similar to what pros get and you decide what to do with it. Our mission is to put the same information that the pros get, into the hands of everyday investors like you in a way that is easy to understand.
