Come fly with me

Hey MPA Investors!
What's your favorite airline? Let me guess, Spirit? 🤣 ok, ok, probably not. Mine is actually Virgin and Lufthansa. But that's not who we have on tap for today, so let's jump right in:

THIS WEEKS' MOVERS SNAPSHOT
American Airlines (Stock Ticker: AAL) - Ladies and gentlemen, we're approaching our destination please get your investment accounts ready, we have an opportunity in the skies.
Why AAL?
The global airline industry increased in revenue by 57.6% from 2021 to 2022. I think most of us can guess why that is. It's our friendly neighborhood virus course 🦠. But now travel is getting back into it's old rhythm, there are some opportunities. And American Airlines Group is actually the second largest by revenue. After having cut their losses due to the pandemic, airlines in general are expected to return to profitability this year. Bottom line, we're riding the airline industry jet stream with it's number 2 player, American Airlines.
Why we feel there’s a buying opportunity:
1. The global airline industry market is projected to grow around 25% each year for the next 5 years. So holding on to this one could allow you to enjoy the climb.
2. Let's talk about what the banks think the stock will do. - Deutsche Bank expects it to hit $25 - Morgan Stanley is thinking $19 - Jp Morgan believes $26
CURRENT PRICE (as of this email): $14.35
TERMS YOU NEED TO KNOW
Capitalization - The total market value of a company. That value is calculated by multiplying the number of shares on the market by the price per share.
See you on Monday!Thibaud & PhilipInteresting Investment Facts: It’s easier to be right long-term on a stock than it is to be right short-term.
Let’s talk investment risk:
No matter what anyone tells you, every investment comes with risk. Even keeping your money in the bank comes with risk. The risk isn’t very high for keeping your money in the bank, but there’s still a risk. Believe it or not, there’s even a risk for keeping cash. You could have it stolen or in 5 years it could be worth less than it’s worth now because of inflation. So it’s important to understand the different levels of risks that come with investing of all kinds. We would not recommend investing in individual stocks as a retirement plan. If you’re interested in investing in stocks for other reasons, the analysis we give you could help. But we have to be clear, these are NOT recommendations, this is analysis. We give you the analysis similar to what pros get and you decide what to do with it. Our mission is to put the same information that the pros get, into the hands of everyday investors like you in a way that is easy to understand.
